Terms of Service

1. The service

The Night Atlas ("we", "us") provides an introspective dream journal: you record dreams, and the app surfaces motifs, archetypes, and monthly syntheses drawn from your entries. The service is for personal reflection and self-exploration. It is not medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, and it does not provide diagnosis or treatment.

2. Accounts

You need an account to journal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the service.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• New accounts include 4 free dream analyses, no credit card required.
• Paid plans: $89.99/year with a 14-day free trial, or $9.99/month billed at purchase. Prices in USD, exclusive of taxes where applicable.
• Annual trial: zero charge today; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the annual amount is billed. Cancel anytime before renewal to avoid the next charge.
• Web purchases are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record: it processes your payment, handles tax/VAT, and its name appears on your statement.
• iOS in-app purchases, when available, are billed by Apple under Apple's terms, not Paddle's.
• You can cancel web subscriptions in one click from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; current-period access continues until the period ends.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Atlas for lawful, personal purposes only. Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or attempt to disrupt the service, and do not upload content you have no right to share. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content and privacy

Your dreams belong to you. You grant us only the limited right to store and process them to operate the service (including AI-assisted analysis). We never sell your journal, and we never use it to train public models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Changes and termination

We may update features or these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the service.
